Family,

Lolol what a funny week. But I’ll get to that part later lol

Actually this week we had TONS of appointments fall out it was so frustrating! Like freal Monday-Wednesday every single one of our appointments fell out! But that’s just how it goes sometimes I guess.  Made some great time to go out and find! On Tuesday night we stopped this lady named Carmen. As we stopped her she didn’t take her eyes off my name tag for like 45 seconds lol it was a little awkward but she was dope. She was unusually open about how she wants peace and happiness and God in her life. She talked about how she wants a husband and family. She’s about 40 or so. Then she said she’d come to church and she actually did! She showed up towards the end of sacrament meeting and then we had an investigator class. She has such a desire to know the truth and find out if God is there. She was crying a bit and was just totally feeling the spirit as she was being taught. She said she’ll come no matter what this Sunday!! Such a miracle I am so pumped! Just love it when people give us a chance to talk! It makes me so grateful when I meet people like Carmen to have such wonderful family and friends that bless my life in all ways!

But the Familie Mohr is doing so sick! They just finished reading Mosiah and are loving it! Unfortunately they didn’t have time to meet this week just cause he’s mega busy and her mom was visiting last weekend but we’re seeing them on Wednesday!

Ok ok then Thursday I had my doctors appointment lolol.  The doc came in and again didn’t speak English at all.  It was so bad my terminology of the midsection in German just isn’t good lol so that was a struggle to explain my pain.  He told me I look great and there’s no problems he can see. So that was a HUGE relief. But I’m still in discomfort. He said if it gets worse or doesn’t go away after a month or two then call him again. But ugh after that a nurse came in and drew my blood out of my arm and that hurt SO bad I wanted to cry. She took so much like 5 tubes full. Crazy stuff. So ya I hope this whole thing is all behind me it has been so funny and random I guess it’s all just making memories lol.

We also met with Monday and his fam on Saturday and they are doing great. Kinda. They are reading in the Book of Mormon but he lost his job which was a huge bummer..but he’s a hopeful guy and we just need to keep them progressing!

Life is so good right now! I’m just having a blast out here it is such a good time. Just enjoying everyday!

Love you all thanks for being so nice to me

I Want Heaven Again

Family,

Lol this week was so sick again! We got DUMPED on with snow it makes says so much better

K story time so on Monday we were waking to the train station from our church and we were just chatting and we pass this guy and he’s like “hey, we’re in Germany. We speak German here.” And I was just like “ok sweet we’ll talk in German” and anyway we just talked to him and eventually gave him a Book of Mormon and he invited us over the next day! During that appointment he smoked 5 cigarettes and downed a bottle and a half of beer. He said “I’ve experienced heaven and hell. I want heaven again” he talked about his addiction to smoking and alcohol and how he wants out. Well a few days pass and we were walking to the church and I just felt like we should stop by and see what’s up. We did and he was home and he tells us to come in and he was just sitting in the kitchen with like a way dim light it was way sad there was a bottle of vodka, three beers and two packs of cigs on his table and he was just sitting there in the dark. We start talking to him asking what we can do to help, and he was like “absolutely nothing. I have cancer. I don’t know how much longer I’m gonna live.” The air in the room was literally just sucked out as he said this.  My jaw was just to the floor. He was saying how he doesn’t wanna drink or smoke but it helps with the pain n stuff. Holy cow it was so sad he just needs some light in his life! I’ll keep you guys updated in him! We’re going by tonight!

Then ok crazy story. So I have these elders in my district in a city called Regensburg and they are teaching this guy named Mirako (not sure on the spelling) from Africa. He is getting baptized on the 30th he’s way legit! Anyways I was on a split there and we went to go teach him and I was just getting to know him and he said that he knew the missionaries in Ingolstadt. Well of course I knew my bff CROFT served in Ingolstadt like a year ago and I was like “did one of the missionaries you knew have flaming red hair?” And he was like “Ya!”  And I pulled out a pic of Croft on my iPad and it was so him! Lol so cool to know somebody good old Croft taught out here. Such a small world lol

And this week I found out I’m staying in Feucht for another 6 weeks!  Such a relief! And Adam is staying too so we’ll get to chill for another 6 at least! It has been sick to see the work grow in the past 12 weeks! When I got here we didn’t have an investigator but it has just totally taken off we are seeing daily miracles that make life so fun! We’re meeting the coolest people with so much potential! I am way excited to see what happens in the near future!

Thanks for the prayers! I love you all a lot and am grateful you’re all my friends! I’m praying for you all!

Loves!

What a Great Time of Life

Family,

Oh man k so last Monday evening I started my split with Ad and it was great! We went to a part member appointment that night and it was just so cool. Usually the member is like “so where are you from?” And I’m like “salt lake” and they’re like “elder Webber aren’t you from salt lake too? Did you guys know each other at home?” Lol It’s so classic I love it. Then Ad and I just stayed up and chatted forever. It was a really good convo though like it was just so nice.

Then Tuesday was the best! Ad and I woke up and studied then we went and taught two of his investigators! It was so sick! One of the lessons was with a guy named Jon and it was his first meeting with the missionaries so we just taught him the first lesson and it was so dope! The spirit was SO strong it was amazing just to bounce off one another and teach. I won’t forget it! Then that night we were just chilling at the church waiting for our comps to come and split back and idk Ad and I just started talking and it was such a sweet experience we ended up just bearing our testimonies to each other and talked about all the different things we see in each other lol. I almost cried lol. Idk it was just a great day

Wednesday was another good time! We finally got in contact with our man Monday! (the Nigerian) so his family consists of his wife and his two kids. His wife is from Ukraine. I contacted him on the street about a month and a half ago and this was our first meeting with him! We walked about an hour to get to his house through pitch black murdery forest but it was so worth it! We sat down and just talked with his family for a while and they are so great! Love them! The daughter is 12 and the son is 20 and they are totally interested!! So Monday was a member of the church back like 20 years ago in Nigeria and then moved to Ukraine for the past 20. He left the church in Nigeria and never went in Ukraine. He even said he saw missionaries and he never told them he was a member or anything, but he was like “I don’t know why I told you guys so fast that was weird. I guess I just had a good feeling” it was so cool to hear!  Anyways we’re meeting them on Wednesday and we’re pumped to go forward. He just kept on saying “I’m just so happy you guys came” It was so sweet! Yay! Lolol

Then Friday we went and taught the Mohr family! They are the ones I told you about last week. They are strong Baptists and just randomly showed up to church last Sunday! They are so sick! They have a little girl and a baby boy. We went over to their house on our first appointment which is about as strange as it gets in Germany. Over here almost nobody will invite you over for a first visit so we were just pumped from the start! We ate dinner with them and talked. Elder Vorimo and I really just wanted to focus on helping them feel how much we love and care about them. They had TONS of questions which is good, but makes it hard to get in an actual lesson. But that’s why we’re here is just to help the people with what they need. Anyway it went super well! The dad has already read 1 Nephi! Crazy and they already watched the restoration video on Joseph smith! Haha it was all so unreal. With all that being said, they still have lots of concerns and the dad has work 3/4 Sunday’s a month so there is for sure obstacles to overcome. But they are so legit I am so pumped and lucky to be here! He drove us home and tried to give us $20 lol he’s so funny. So please pray for the family Mohr!

Ah man things are just good right now. What a great time of life. I’m just a happy boy. But I love you all! Pray for you guys daily!

Family,

Such a sick week life is too good!

On Tuesday I was on a split with an Elder and we went to a far away place called Teuchlingen and it is about an hour away but we had nothing planned and I felt good about going exploring a little bit. So we did. We started walking away from the train station and we were just talking with one another and we literally did not pass a single person it was like a ghost town or something. Anyway before we knew it we were walking down this street and we came to a dead end with this apartment building. We just kinda realized it was an ordinary apartment building and just turned around to go out and find some people to talk to. But as we had started walking away from the train station, I had simply said a little prayer for Heavenly Father to guide us. So as we walked away from the apartment building, I probably got like 50 feet away I remembered the prayer I said, and thought how random it was we ended up in front of that apartment building and I just immediately knew I had to go ring that doorbell. I so didn’t want to I just wanted to keep on walking but the guilt was getting at me lol. So we stopped in our tracks and we went and rang the first doorbell we saw. Well we met this guy and we started talking and he was totally nice but kinda bugged we had disturbed him, but then we said we were Mormons and it turns out that his 3rd cousins are from Utah and Mormon! Haha it was crazy! He was really busy at the time, but he said to come by this week! So we are just mega pumped about that!

K then New Years Eve was crazy! All day you just see people gearing up for a party that night lol. But we had such a sick opportunity earlier that day! So the old mission president of the Frankfurt Mission lives in this ward his name is President Schwartz! He is now the Nurnberg stake president! He is one of the most spiritual people I have ever met in my life! He literally glows with the spirit! So he invited my district (and Adam and his comp) over to his house and we had a little district meeting and he just talked to us and pumped us up a little! It was so cool! Then that night, our president gave people permission to stay out till midnight if they were at a members house! It was so dope! But we had to leave earlier so I actually ended up standing on a train platform as the clock struck midnight so that was pretty exciting lol. There was a huge ice storm though and so everything was just covered in ice. And so on the platform, there was not a soul there cause everybody was somewhere partying, so we were having competitions to see who could run and slide the furthest on the ice. We started going and I was up and I was getting at the end and only needed a few more feet and I started leaning forward and just biffed it SO hard my whole left hip is a little bruised lol I’ll send you all the vid. But we ended up home safe and sound among thousands of fireworks! Way sick!

Then New Year’s Day we had a zone training with everybody and that was cool as usual! Everybody’s was a little tired but it ended up being a sick meeting! Then after that we were invited over to a members house for the third time in a week and half lol they really like the Elders and we just have so much fun with them! Way blessed to be here!

Miracle of the week was on Sunday when this random 4 member family showed up to church! It is a mom and a dad and two little girls! They are baptists and they just wanted to come check us out! We were so pumped!!! We are praying this will work out! We have been talking to so many people and working our guts out and we are hoping this is the success we’ve been waiting for! Pray for the Mohr family!

For the past month or so I have just been thinking about an appropriate New Years Resolution and it was hard at first but I finally came up with one that I think is just perfect for me. My goal for 2015 was to just “Be Happy” and I think for the most part I did an ok job at that lol I just had it taped up on my wall and I saw it everyday and was reminded to be happy. This year my goal is just “Love.” I just feel like in all aspects of my life I can be a more loving person! Love is the most powerful gift God has given us and it changes lives! I feel like if I try and just love more, then I will be more able to leave behind my old self and move on to who I wanna be.  So I am pumped for this year and to try my best to love the best days as well as the not best days lol.

And tonight I am going on my split with Ad! I am going to his area so it should just be a blast! Way pumped! More vids and pics to come next week!

Well that’s it from me. I’m a happy boy, I hope you’re a happy family.
